Wealthy Recluse

In Wealthy Recluse, the thirty-ninth installment of the Sugar Daddy Series, billionaire Damian Vale has withdrawn from society after devastating personal loss, allowing his once-majestic coastal estate to fall into emotional and physical decay. The gardens that once symbolized life and love now mirror his inner world—silent, overgrown, and untouched.

Enter Elena Marlowe, a determined landscape architect struggling to keep her own career alive. Tasked with restoring the estate, she expects a challenging but straightforward project. Instead, she finds herself face-to-face with a man who has built his existence around grief, control, and emotional isolation.

As Elena begins reviving the land—terraces, greenhouse, and forgotten pathways—she uncovers the deeper architecture of Damian's pain. Their professional relationship gradually shifts into something far more intimate, marked by emotional friction, reluctant honesty, and undeniable chemistry. Storms, shared vulnerability, and the haunting presence of Damian's past force both of them to confront what they have been avoiding for years: life itself.

When Damian is pulled back into public scrutiny and haunted by the reappearance of old connections tied to his late wife, their fragile bond is tested. But Elena refuses to treat him as broken, and Damian begins to realize that healing does not mean forgetting—it means growing beyond loss.

As the estate opens its gates for the first time in years, transformed into a living botanical sanctuary, Damian must choose between retreating into grief or stepping into a future shaped by love, trust, and renewal. In the end, both he and Elena discover that what was truly being restored was never just the garden—but the human heart.

A slow-burn billionaire romance about grief, healing, emotional rebirth, and the kind of love that doesn't replace the past—but makes space for the future.
