Detective Gabe Adon is having one heck of a day. His wife left him and took their daughter with her. Then, while on a sting operation to capture jewel thieves, he dies saving the world from a biological weapon. His body is placed in stasis and he spends two centuries in a warehouse only to be revived by Zoe, a mad scientist bent on transforming him into a cybernetically-enhanced human weapon to use to take over the League of Planetary Systems. As if Gabe's plate wasn't already full, Zoe's crazy genius brother tasks him to find an artifact called the Engine of Creation before Zoe gets her hands on it.

Weapon is the first book of the Engine of Creation series that follows Gabe's journey through a future he never imagined.
