Wed To The Devil

Talia and Dare are back. It starts where Deal With the Devil ended. I was on the edge of my seat glued to this book. Needed to know what happened next. Their story is still bumpy, but Dare is starting to soften that hard exterior that he has built up his whole life. Talia and Dare continue to go back and forth, but they do seem to be growing closer. There is deceit, lies, truths, lust, love, drama, angst and sone twists. There are people who want to rip them apart and they will have to learn to trust each other. Their story is so darn good and I can’t wait to see what happens next, especially after the ending. I tried to keep going, but there were no more pages. 🤣

Wed to the Devil is the second book in the Married at Midnight series, and it’s best to read this series in order. Dare and Talia are married and expecting, but can their marriage withstand all of the lies, tricks, scheming family members, and real emotions?

This was an interesting book, full of some twists and turns, and I wanted to cheer for Talia and Dare to find love, but it was difficult to do at times. Talia is a strong character, and I loved a lot of her optimism. Some of her decisions didn’t quite make sense to me, like choosing to not work at her aunt’s store anymore, but I also thought it was fun to see the emotional and sometimes irrational side of being pregnant. Dare was fun to watch as he slowly softened up to his wife. But he was also still heavily influenced by his family and sphere of people around him. When they were able to just be the two of them, I really loved them. I liked their passion, but was falling for all the ways they were falling for each other. As others came into the picture, though, it was just a struggle to enjoy some of the background storyline. There’s a lot going on in this book and the ending felt a little repetitive. I’m curious to see how Dare and Talia’s story will end.
