A Cute & Silly Happily Ever After in the Highlands

I really enjoyed Wedding Games, even without having read the other books that came before it in the series. Even though I hadn’t read them, I was still able to follow the story and appreciate the characters’ relationships, and I felt like this was a nice wrap-up of a romance series, ending with a feel good, happy ever after. Some of the characters felt a bit like caricatures of real people (Brad and Arnold in particular), but I actually liked it that way. And I really loved the members of the bridal party, especially Charlie. The humor and fun they brought to the story was great. While it didn’t feel like there was much of a plot, given there wasn’t much conflict to resolve, I think this was mostly due to the nature of the book being the final one of the series and more focused on ending everything on a high note for that HEA. I don’t know that there’s much better praise to give, other than to say that I liked the book well enough that I intend to read the rest of the series now.

I received a free advanced review copy of this book and leave this review voluntarily.

I said I do to this hilarious rom-com

Evie brought back our favorite characters from the series for this spectacular ending. This book, heck the entire series checked off all my boxes; the steam, the moments where I literally LOL, the enemies to lovers, the grumpy/ sunshine, the hilarious family members, the happy ever afters, oh did I mention the steam?!?! You will not want to miss this series.
