In the aftermath of their Stanley Cup victory, Chris and Natalie find themselves entangled in a whirlwind Vegas marriage that challenges them to gamble on love or risk losing it all under the dazzling lights.
As the Newport Beach Seagulls claim their first Stanley Cup victory, star player Chris Worthington finds the championship brings more than just glory—it reignites a past he can't escape.
Meanwhile, Natalie Bowman, an ambitious executive still smarting from a recent breakup, gets swept into the celebrations.
The wild nights in Vegas promise a temporary escape, but when their paths cross, the spark between them ignites a fire neither can deny.
Natalie, grappling with betrayal and seeking liberation from her structured life, finds Chris's wild, carefree spirit both a thrill and a threat to her fragile heart.
Chris, accustomed to the uncomplicated company of fans and the adrenaline of the game, finds Natalie's resilience and intellect an unexpected challenge.
As the lights of Vegas dazzle, and the shadows of past relationships loom, Chris and Natalie must decide if what happens in Vegas will stay in Vegas, or if they're playing for keeps. Will the glitzy nights forge a lasting bond, or will old wounds and new challenges force them back to solitary paths?
Wedding Rings & Champions is an accidental Vegas wedding hockey romance full of unexpected love, the power of healing, and the thrill of victory, both on the ice and off.

Great addition to the series!
This is book 8 in The Slapshot series and it features Chris Worthington, third line left winger for the Newport Beach Gulls hockey team, and Natalie Bowman. This is a very quick insta-like/love romance. Just remember that what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas as these two soon find out. But their compatibility takes them off guard.
This story line was serious but fun and is just what you’d expect from this fabulous author. This is a great addition to a fantastic series!
Married??!!
Chris and his team had just won hockey’s championship, the Stanley Cup, for the first time in the team’s history and they headed to Las Vegas to celebrate. Natalie had just broken up with her long term boyfriend and when her ex started making ridiculous demands, she decided to join a group of friends going to Las Vegas for a bachelorette party. Chris runs into Natalie at a bar and joins her friends and he and Natalie drink heavily celebrating. The next morning they wake up with little memory of the night before but they are wearing rings. How will they handle finding out that they are married?
I enjoyed this story with 2 people who went to Las Vegas to celebrate and ended up drinking too much and making a drunken mistake. They had to decide how they would handle the situation and it was fun reading about them trying to figure out what to do next.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Others are better
Writing felt very different from the other books in the series. Almost as though this book was written by a high schooler. Lack of flow and character development.
