Weeds Among Stone

A young widow finds herself with a calling that she doesn’t understand. Dwarves don't have a word for shamaness. With the blessings of her family, Maran leaves home for the big city, hoping to find answers. In a story of determination and self-discovery, she chooses the hard path while being pulled every deeper by the power of the gods. If Maran is to realize her destiny, if she is to become a shamaness, then she must face the gods on their own territory, and more terrible still, obey them even when their orders seem impossible.
