출판사 설명
A psychic detective hunting a monster. An alpha-to-be bound by an ancient law. In the shadows of the French Quarter, secrets don't just haunt you.
They hunt you.
Detective Macey Carpenter is no stranger to the dark side of New Orleans, but her latest case is a nightmare. Seven victims. Vanishing evidence. And a killer who leaves behind nothing but piles of ash. Macey's psychic ability usually leads her to the truth, but this time, the shadows are whispering things she isn't ready to hear.
Enter Luke Mason. He's powerful, protective, and far too charming for Macey's guarded heart. But Luke is hiding a secret that could destroy them both: he's an alpha shifter, and his pack is the only thing standing between the city and a demonic invasion.
Luke is next in line to lead the Crescent City Wolf Pack, but there's a catch. To claim his throne, he must mate with another werewolf. Falling for a human detective isn't just a distraction—it's a betrayal of his bloodline.
As a rising evil threatens to tear New Orleans apart, the heat between Macey and Luke reaches a breaking point. In a world where werewolves mate for life, Luke must decide between the crown he was born for and the woman who is his destiny.
But in the Big Easy, no one is exactly what they seem. And Macey is about to discover her own blood holds a secret that could change everything.
Sink your teeth into the first book of the Crescent City Wolf Pack Series—a steamy, high-stakes shifter romance perfect for fans of fated mates, alpha heroes, and gritty urban mysteries.

Decent, Fun Little Read So Far!
I’m not very far in yet, but I find this book charming. The premise is intriguing, and the characters are believable. I’m looking forward to seeing the two main characters get together. I want to know what happens next, why the demons are being summoned, and how the female lead will hold her own against them. This is surprisingly good for a free ebook.
Good enough - not great.
The story overall was ok. I skimmed some parts because it was unrealistic, repetitive, or just in general, not enjoyable. The storyline with all the paranormal action was interesting and kept me in it! The relationships between the people was painfully awkward and annoying at times. The dialogue which is usually my favorite part of a story, left a lot to be desired. Overall I did stay around long enough to make it to the end which I questioned if I should at times. The action and side challenges they all faced were fun and enjoyable.
