Different in a good way!
I read a ton of romance and this book wasn’t perfect but it was different and interesting. I wasn’t expecting the storyline although it could’ve had more in depth moments. The reveal to Cal was shallow, & some things needed to be explained more but let’s face it, we’re reading these books for light entertainment and the book kept me entertained for sure!

Based on the description I thought this was going to be a great story, but it is more boring than watching paint dry. I’m less than halfway through it and I don’t care to know the rest.
Phee could be interesting if only the author would let her. She could be an amazing character with so much depth and strength but she is being held back. Why?
Calvin is weak. And spineless. He might be a nice guy but he’s just forgettable. I actually had to go back and look up his name to write this review.
Emma is useless. I understand the need for a more tangled storyline, but if I don’t read another word about her it will make the story better. She seems like an afterthought that could have been purged from the book altogether.
Eastly is a ridiculous character who is a spoiled child and should not be put up with. His storyline is so asinine as to be superfluous. Totally unbelievable.
I give this 2 stars strictly for Phee. Just wish the author would let her shine through.
