    Beautiful!

I downloaded this book on iBooks and just finished reading it.
It is charming! The drawings and illustrations are beautiful. The definitions, in clickable hyperlinks, are great for students. Actually, even for me: I now know the difference between port and starboard. 😊
Beautifully done! A very sweet story, while at the same time, profound.

    Emotionally and Visually Stunning

Whale Fall takes grief to a place that is accessible for all ages but is particularly moving to those of us who took too long to understand ourselves.

    Astounding! A true gem!

As a Children’s Librarian I believe this story is not just for children, but for all ages. It holds deep lessons on greif and the process of human emotion through the eyes of creatures (some of which I didn’t even know existed) that spend their lives in the darkness. The illustrations are beatufiul and the story takes you through a meaningful journey that will leave you to reflect on your own grieving process. Lastly, it’s a wonderful book for teachers and educators, as Bajor is a former school teacher he knows how to incorporate difficult words while providing meaning and context for all ages to grow and learn!
