After years of angry silence, Carolyn Tanner returns to her rural Kentucky home to care for her dying grandmother. Driven by unresolved feelings for her first love, Peter Layton, she carves out a secret path in the woods to spy on the handsome homebuilder. It never occurs to Carolyn that someone knows what she is doing until the day she finds a pile of stones neatly stacked beside the trail. Intrigued by the discovery, Carolyn builds one too. Before long, she and her fellow hiker are exchanging gifts by leaving them in a rusty lunch box Carolyn ties to a tree. Who is the person lurking in the woods and what are their intentions? Her quest to solve the mystery may cost Carolyn her life but she is determined to discover What Every Daisy Knows.

Beverly Lenicky PCC-S is a Clinical Counselor in private practice who provides mental health counseling to individuals, couples, and families. She also supervises counseling interns at Xavier University. The former Ohio State champion gymnast, gym owner and national level coach continues to work with athletes from all sports by helping them overcome psychological blocks and achieve peak performance. Besides being interesting and entertaining, her stories include valuable lessons about psychology and mental health. The idea for What Ever Daisy Knows came when she discovered a carnation tied to a tree on a secret path she carved out in the woods.
