What Happened to Tara

A continental disaster has left North America in the dark. Telephones, cars, electric lights and anything with computers, have all been disabled. With winter coming the Morrisson family must leave their suburban home to find shelter on the farm. However, their teenage daughter rebels. She can't imagine a world without food or heat, so, confident that the crisis will end soon Tara runs away with Will, the town 'bad boy.' She soon finds that Will offers not an escape, but a trap. When her young friend, Bobby, disappears and the house they have been sheltering in burns to the ground, Tara must make a decision. Will she wait with Will and his gang, or will she flee into the B.C. wilderness?
