Jesus is eight years old when his parents, Joseph and Mary, adopt a puppy.

After Jesus names her Happily, he and his new furry best friend quickly bond. As Jesus teaches Happily commands like sit and stay, he rewards his dog for her good behavior. While her bond grows not just with Jesus, but also with his parents, Happily soon teaches all of them that the unconditional love between animals and humans is the best love of all.
