What Is Christianity‪?‬

This book contains six essays by the Lutheran theologian Dr. Francis Pieper: What is Christianity?; The Christian World-View; The Reconciliation of Man with God; The Layman's Movement in the Light of God's Word; The Holy Bible; The Open Heaven. The six essays that are offered show Dr. Pieper at his best in defending the three fundamental doctrines of the Lutheran Church, sola Scriptura, sola gratia, and gratia universalis, in other words, the doctrines that Holy Scripture is the only source and norm of faith, that salvation is due to grace alone and not to any human merit, and that divine grace embraces all men.
