A member of the small Northern Pennsylvania Lancaster Falls Police Department, a handsome, thirty-year old, Lieutenant Sawyer Wiseman has been instructed to - check out - a new stranger in town, who has moved into the recently renovated Dwyer Mountain Cabin property, located above the town’s Iron Lake reservoir. No one knows the new owner’s name, or the Holding Company, or - who - purchased the place, except that the property is registered in New York State.
Lt. Sawyer, swings out of his police SUV, stepping out into the furnace heat of the mid-day summer-HOT temperature, his boots hitting the ground, approaching the mountain cabin’s porch - the cabin front planked door - slowly opens.
Emerging from the inside shadows -stopping at the threshold, leaning on the door’s jamb-frame, the silhouette of a tall lanky slim muscled torso, barefooted, in a white t-shirt and cut-off-khaki-shorts, his left hand fingers gripping the collar of a large jet-black dog, straining at the hold, his tail wagging so hard that the dog’s entire body-frame wiggles.
