Such a cool Historical revelation of family secrets
I love how she interweaves the facts within the story. Then to be able to go to her blog and see all the real life pictures of the priest and her Grandmother and hear how all this was found out. Just so fascinating.
Poignant, bittersweet love story
An absorbing, meticulously researched fictionalization of the illicit love between the author’s strong-spirited grandmother and the Catholic priest for whom she worked as a housekeeper 1920s Montana. I was fascinated by the historical details and totally immersed in the story.
