What the Monkey Saw

Reading the unedited raw first chapter of a work in progress was enough for me to know I would need to clear my calendar and turn off the phone once this book was published. I wasn’t wrong. The gripping storyline is balanced by poignant passages describing end-of-life care by a death doula. Desperation and deadly decisions in the beauty of the Appalachian mountains lead to an unexpected twist in the end. I’m eager for book #2, please.
