Seventeen-year-old Vee is the son of a world-famous detective, and he spends every day trying to live up to his father’s expectations. His chance to finally make his dad proud comes in the form of a cutthroat Fellowship opportunity—two weeks stranded on an island with seven other teens, competing for a full-ride scholarship. 

But Vee has a weakness that he can’t keep hidden for long: he has a history of sleepwalking, which makes the others uneasy. Maybe they were right to worry, because only a couple nights later, Vee wakes up with a knife in his hand and a very dead body beside him. Horrified, he sneaks away and waits for the others to learn what happened. He is consumed by doubt—could he have killed someone while sleepwalking? 

But nobody accuses Vee. Instead, they turn to him, as the son of the famous detective, to solve the murder. He agrees, hoping to prove his innocence in the process. But in his investigation, he begins to suspect everyone—including himself. And as more dead bodies appear around the island, Vee begins to trust his own mind less and less.

Stuck on the island with no way to contact the mainland, anyone could be next and Vee is determined to find the killer once and for all…even if it’s him.
