I can’t even put it all into words how much I loved reading this novel. I loved that it seemed so realistic and down to earth to me, at least Kaliya’s side of the story did. She seemed so relatable. This is a single POV 2nd time romance. It gave me all the feels. It was cute, humorous, nostalgic, had elements of grief and overcoming grief. Kaliya and Danny’s story took me THROUGH IT and I had my fist in the air multiple times wanting to punch the book 😂😂. But I overall truly enjoyed reading this.

I loved the writing style. Romantic and had me swooning. It kept me intrigued, I finished it in 5 days. Such a beautiful love story. Can’t wait to read more from Myah Ariel‼️
Sooo glad I found this book
I was introduced to this book in a thread (on threads actually) on romance books by black authors. This book has been nothing short or a gem since the day I started reading it, and I’m only 50% through. The style of writing is so clear, each character’s identity and personality is well written. It’s clear they’re meant to be from the first chapter, and you’re immediately rooting for them. I just love this book, and I hope the author continues to share her gift of writing with the world.
