When Marigolds Rage

After their entanglement in Houston, Kylie and Adam attempt to put back together the shattered pieces of their life together while supporting her father's private hospitalization at Whispering Pines. Adam has been let go from the record label due to the bad publicity, and Kylie grasps at any opportunity to report on local crimes and keep her name as a journalist fresh in the public's mind.

When news of a Zodiac Killer copycat is loose in the city, she jumps on the chance to report on this new serial killer sending cryptic ciphers to local publications. She is thrust into partnership with another Zodiac expert, Ethan Duffy, who she finds difficult to trust—or even tolerate.

As a darker rage begins to make itself known, Kylie throws herself into the challenge of uncovering the truth, only to find an even darker web of lies and conspiracies surrounding the new Zodiac copycat.
