For years, farmworkers have been ignored by society. People have gotten into the routine of mindlessly buying food without thinking about the connection that actual humans have to their groceries. Farmworkers gained lots of attention and awareness during the United Farmworkers Movement led by Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta, but still, today farmworkers are not treated with the rights that they deserve. This book is intended to challenge you to think more intentionally when you buy food, to understand who is responsible for the food you see in grocery stores, and ask yourself Where Does My Food Come From?
