Loved this...
From the very beginning, I want to hug Barney. He seemed to be such a nice guy in a bad situation. The situation with his father made me want to hug him more. But, Barney’s reaction to the beating made me get emotional. His first inclination to help a homeless stranger when he had so little himself made that urge to hug come back again and again. By the end, I wanted to hug them both. What a good feeling book... Loved it!!
