Publisher Description
Craving a change of scenery and hoping to learn more about wine, Olivia enrolls in a three-month wine education program in Napa Valley. While living in Wine Country for the summer and attending classes, she feels compelled to try new things that she wouldn’t normally do at home in Los Angeles.
Early in her wine-filled journey, Olivia becomes friends with three dynamic, young women who work in the wine industry and live in her new neighborhood. Between wine tasting, dining at nearby restaurants and attending parties, they help Olivia appreciate the many facets of life in a small wine-centric town.
With real wine and winery references, Olivia embraces a glass half-full perspective on life. By the time Harvest arrives, she’s not ready to leave Napa Valley just yet…

Makes me want to go to Napa!
I love when an author makes reading effortless. I flew through this book! Cortney Roudebush is a talented writer who excels at dialogue and setting the scene (I felt like I was there!). This is the perfect read for anyone who wants to feel like they are on vacation in Napa Valley. It is full of fun, relatable characters whose experiences will make you laugh out loud. I hope Hollywood movie producers get a hold of this gem so I can see it on the Big Screen!
Amazing new book! A must read!
Where I Want To Be is such an enjoyable book. It is the kind of novel where you sit down to read, and then hours later you realize you are still reading! It is so easy for the reader to connect with the characters and the author does a really good job describing the characters to be like your friends in real life. Not only is this book about discovering who you are and the people you want to surround yourself with, but it is also a good lesson in Wine! I have a good list of wineries to check out just from reading WIWTB. I highly recommend this book and I look forward to the others in the series!!
A great read!
I was pleasantly surprised by this series since I don't drink. I really enjoyed reading about wine country from Olivia's perspective and the way the author describes her journey of growth as she explores the people and activities of wine country made me feel like it could be me. Really a fun read and I can't wait for book 2!
