Loved Matt, Mira, and Hagen!

Matt, Mira, and of course Hagen, were the perfect trio and addition to Addison Coles Sweet with Heat Books in Whispers at Seaside.

Matt and Mira had been friends for a year when Matt comes back home on a sabbatical. The attraction between them has always been there, simmering beneath the surface, but Mira cannot allow herself to get too attached, knowing that Matt’s time in Seaside is temporary. But, of course, sometimes life has other plans and can bring you back home when it is most needed.

Matt is ready to make some changes in his life, and that includes proving to Mira and Hagen that he might just be the best person for the both of them. For good.

This book had JUST enough heat in it to keep you sticking around for more, and enough good friends and family lessons to make you want to pack your bags and move to Seaside immediately.

Really enjoyed this book, especially the audio version! Addison Cole is a fantastic author that you cannot help but love in every way!

Great Book!

Matt Lacroux, a professor at Princeton and Mira Savage, a single mother who works for Matt’s dad at his hardware store met a year earlier and had become friends. They hung out together when he was in town with her son Hagen and texted occasionally when he was in Princeton. Matt did want more with Mira but was too far away to make it work. Who knew a broken shower head and a Friday night of eating amazing desserts, a ghost tour, dancing and watching the sunrise would finally bring these two together. I really enjoyed watching Matt and Mira and how he was always making sure both Mira and her son Hagen were included in what plans were made and making sure he made time for them both. Matt is definitely my kind of guy. As always we get to check in with our Seaside friends and see what everyone is up to. The way this ended with everyone and Theresa’s ‘prank’, priceless! I listened to this as an audiobook which was narrated by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York. I really enjoy listening to different narrators and these two were seamless in their narration. I listened to this when I was out and about and totally got lost in the story. Their voices just seemed to flow effortlessly. These two did a beyond great job with their storytelling on this book for Addison Cole.

Matt and Mira

Addison Cole does such a wonderful job of making life sweet and fun and help us remember those feelings of falling in love. Matt is a wonderful man who is ready to settle down....Mira is a single mom who is a bit gun shy. Watching them navigate the waters is a sweet journey!

Love this family

Matt is a college professor at Princeton University. While he loves his job, he’s been feeling restless, and thinking he might want a change. He decides to take a three month sabbatical and go back to the Cape where his family is after receiving an offer to write a book, which he’s always wanted to do. He misses seeing his dad and his brothers, but more than that, he misses Mira, who works for his dad. Matt met Mira over a year ago at his brothers engagement party and they’ve been friends ever since. Not only does Matt love being around Mira, but her six-year old son, Hagen, reminds him so much of himself at that age. Hagen is a self proclaimed “nerd”. He’s incredibly smart and everyone adores him. After arriving at the Cape, Matt has a run in with a shower head and runs to his fathers hardware store in town to grab a new one. When he gets there, Mira is still working on the books in the office. And this is where it really gets good!

The chemistry between Matt and Mira is off the charts, but they’re both so cautious about starting anything between them because Matt doesn’t know where he’ll be after the three months ends. The more time they spend together though, the harder it is to keep their hands off each other! Mira is so protective of Hagen and worries about him getting too attached to Matt. Meanwhile, Matt is realizing how strong his feelings for Mira and Hagen are and is starting to reevaluate his own life.

I really enjoyed watching the relationship between not only Matt and Mira, but also Matt and Hagen grow. Hagen is such a sweet, intelligent little boy that you can’t help but smile when you read some of the funny things he says. And Mira is such a wonderful, loving mother that you can’t help but be happy to see her get a chance at real love! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I would highly recommend this book!

Fantastic Story

Whispers at Seaside by Addison Cole is another fantastic story, this was definitely a great addition to this already wonderful series. The writing just reels you in, you are able to feel what these amazing

Characters are feeling. This was a very sweet story with some heat you can fill coming off the pages.

This is Matt and Mira’s story, Mira is a single mother to the most adorable six year old around. She works at the local hardwear store with Matt’s father. Matt is back home in Cape Cod for a three month sabbatical, and is real excited to see Mira and her son Hagen. These two have an undeniable connection. This was an amazing story that just hooks you from the moment you start. I highly recommend this great book it’s definitely a must read and you certainly don’t want to miss this incredible story.

Wonderful

This was the perfect book to close out the Seaside stories. There was a glimpse of some of the Bayside characters that we'll be getting to know soon.

I love these Sweet Heat stories. Steamy scenes are great, but sometimes its fun to just imagine what happens next once the heat starts kicking up. I love that Matt treats Hagen as not just Mira's kid, but someone he can love too. Single moms that give their all like Mira does deserve love too, and they're a package deal. Matt gives that to both of them, and even realizes a few things himself about family.

Sweet beautiful story

Whispers At Seaside by Addison Cole is a sweet romantic story. Matt Lacroux is professor on his sabbatical back home to write a book and be with his family and date Mira who he met the year before at his brothers wedding. Mira a single mother works for his dad as his bookkeeper and taken care of her son Hagen. Matt is only on sabbatical for 3 months and Mira wonders what will happen to both her and Hagen hearts when he leaves to go back to Princeton to teach. Matt is struggling with wanting a family or his teaching career.

I loved this book and reading about Matt and Mira’s support for each other in their relationship.

I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily choose to review it.

Whispers at Seaside grips your heart

Just when you think it can't get any better Addison Cole’s book excels. I fell in love with Matt Lacroux immediately. He is a dream come true: smart, sexy and sensitive. Mira is a single mom who works in Matt's dad's hardware store. Mira’s son Hagen is so much like Matt. He is super smart and needs to be challenged. The relationship that develops throughout is a pleasure to read. Myra’s son Hagen plays an important role that bonds Matt’s and Mira’s hearts. Follow them along in this beautiful story. Ten stars!
