When the KGB selected Belgrade as its launching point for Russian super assassins, the CIA’s entire European division was put on alert—especially Charles Pritchett, the German station chief and top target. With CIA agents vanishing, Pritchett dispatches Ed Maddux to investigate and dig up any intelligence that could lead to the capture of Medved, the assassin rumored to be targeting Pritchett.
But Maddux finds more questions than answers as an even bigger mystery takes shape: Who is leaking all of the CIA’s secrets? The answer to saving Pritchett and stopping the KGB’s latest threat lies with Maddux’s ability to uncover the mole and spring a trap for Medved.
Fans of David Baldacci, Daniel Silva, and Nelson DeMille will enjoy this globetrotting, Cold War-era thriller from international bestselling author R.J. Patterson.

WHISPERS OF TREASON
Belgrade, the Russian project is super assassins, Prichett is telling agent Maddox. They wonder if a mole is in the agency, when there has been a death of one. Whoever this Medved was he needs to be found and stopped, but who was his next target. One rumor it maybe Prichett, Maddox, has a mystery to solve, and to spring a trap to catch Madved. Great plot, the tension, when it is one of your own, doesn’t stop. You are caught up in this chase, and hope no more agents have to die, will he succeed. Great story, that readers won’t want to miss, as well as this series. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
Needs proofreading.
I’ve rated this quite low, not because of the story, but because I found so many mistakes that it detracted from what could have been a decent book. I’d be happy to proofread the book for you R. J. Not applying for a job but I hate to see a decent book spoiled.
