Publisher Description
She crossed an ocean for a manor… and found a love that haunts.
Belinda Latham leaves Nantucket for the windswept cliffs of Cornwall, England, to claim her inheritance—an eerie, sprawling estate known as Radborne Manor. Arriving on a dark and stormy night, she's met with wary glances and hushed warnings at the local inn. No coachman dares take her to the manor. The reason? Her inheritance includes more than just bricks and ivy.
She's also inherited a ghost.
Maximillian Radborne, the infuriatingly arrogant former lord of the manor, is not at all pleased to have a stubborn American under his roof. Determined to drive her out, he soon discovers that Belinda isn't easily frightened. She challenges his every command, disrupts his solitude—and stirs a passion he thought long dead.
By night, she finds herself drawn into the arms of the dangerously seductive spirit. By day, she hunts for answers to the secrets buried within Radborne Manor's haunted halls.
Some ghosts refuse to be forgotten. And some hearts refuse to let go.

Great plot twists and mystery
I really enjoy this author.
Well thought out mystery with interesting characters. The secondary characters are entertaining as well. I'm not fooled very often and this book really got me a couple of times. Great ending.
Good grief
Talk about predictable and not at all a period piece. This supposedly took place in the very early 1800’s. Umm, no. The dialogue, the interactions, etc. none of it was from this time frame and not even Billie’s “excuse” that she was American makes it believable.
You know who is who and who is what right from the very beginning. Boring and predictable.
I didn’t pay more than a few dollars for the book, but it still wasn’t worth that. Maybe if it was only .99, but even then it would be questionable.
Whisper on the wind
Loved this. Donna Fletcher has given us it all.
Strong female lead, Billie, wickedly handsome hero,Max, love, romance, a wonderful supporting cast of characters and a mystery.
An enjoyable read and re read later on. 😊👍🏻
