White Pillars

When Alex Montclair returns to New Orleans from a business trip to Charleston, South Carolina with a bride on his arm, the news spread through the French Quarter like an epidemic of Yellow Fever.  The fact that he had married at all was astounding in itself, but that the handsome Creole had wed and Americain woman was scandalous!

Luzette Rospierre was enraged upon hearing the news.  The beautiful Creole woman had always fancied herself as one day being the mistress of White Pillars Plantation, and now she vowed to get revenge.  With the help of Gerod Montclair, Alex's estranged uncle, the two lovers for a plot to get rid of both Alex and Katherine Montclair with White Pillars being the prize.
