A big help.
As an adult, I was always confused why my teeth kept falling out. I’d always try putting them back in and that would hurt. I went to the doctor and he said I had something called scurvy, what even is that. Now I understand that my adult teeth were just trying to grow in.
Great way to explain to kids
"Why Do I Lose My Teeth" does a great job of explaining the process of why baby teeth fall out and what happens when the big teeth come in. Reading this with my daughter was so much better than my trying to explain it myself - by giving visuals and describing it in terms that younger kids understand, it solved her curiosity about what was happening in her mouth! The "Why Do I" series is great on other sometimes tricky to understand subjects too. Definitely recommended!
