Chef's Tasting Menu for the Mind
The book is page after page of eloquent force, demonstrating agility and grace with cunning word play, the kind of sharp digs you don't realize until you're clutching blood. Few authors guide the reader in word dances like this, where the reader doesn't need a narrative because each sentence is worth savoring alone. Not everyone will like this book. Some people will smugly scorn its ideas. But, as Winston Churchill once said, that's how you know you've stood for something.
