Just like all this series it was really good. This story doesn’t have as many scenes from the wicked horse club as some of them do.
Wicked Choice
I've been wanting to read this story but didn't get the chance until now and it blew me away. Rachel and Bodie work together. They never really saw each other as a romantic interest. Rachel is in love with her job and Bodie is just an easy going country guy with family values. After a mission gone wrong things heat up between them. After the incident they don't speak about it until Rachel becomes pregnant. The difference in this story is that Rachel does not want the baby she has no interest in raising it but Bodie does. I loved Bodie's character he was a real stand up guy.
He really seemed to understand what Rachel truly needed and wanted. These two become close even when Rachel becomes withdrawn. Maybe Bodie can get Rachel to see that she can be a good mother and possibly a good partner. I liked this story that it was different. I didn't agree with Rachel at some points, but it was her choice and I came to understand her, it just took the right person to show Rachel that she was capable of feelings and love. I rate this story four stars. This story also is the star up of a new series by Sawyer Bennett.

Another wicked choice ...
Needing to forget the nightmare they've just lived through, Bodie and Rachel have a torrid one night stand. Six weeks later and the pregnancy test confirms her worst fear. She doesn't want to be a mom, or so she thinks. She tells Bodie she will have the baby for him but she wants nothing to do with it. I know it sounds cold, but is it really? Something has happened to cause her to feel this way. There are telltale signs that she doesn't really feel this way, but she has to figure it out on her own.
I love her big announcement at the BBQ at Kynan's house about being pregnant and that it's Bodie's. And then she loses her cookies in the backyard. I thought the competition between her and Sal was interesting. They each picked their specialty and then Jericho picks a hot dog eating contest to determine who should lead the team in the next mission. How she didn't lose her cookies there, I just don't know.
Overall, this book was chock full of emotions with a happy ending. It will be interesting to see how this couple moves through parenthood. Hopefully we will get some glimpses in future books.
