Publisher Description
L A Cotton's angsty and addictive new adult romance continues...
Lo Stone should be used to change by now. It's been her life for the last year, but how much can a girl take before the cracks begin to show? She knew being with Maverick wouldn't be easy, but she didn't anticipate her life in Wicked Bay becoming a game of deceit and lies.
Maverick Prince risked everything for Lo, but it was worth it to see her smile. Only now he's painted a target on her back and he refuses to let that happen. The only way to protect her is to do what Princes do best—play the game and stick to the rules.
Even if some rules are made to be broken.

How is it when you think all the games and lies are all done, there is more? Why does the road to happiness for Mave and Lo have so many barriers? I need more, I need to know what's going on with the rest of the crew.its going to be hell waiting for the the next installment.
Loved it!
I liked the first book, but found Maverick to be somewhat frustrating and lacking depth. This book brought his character full circle and I really enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend.
Wicked Conclusion
So, this is the second part of Lo & Maverick's story. It's always a satisfying feeling to see how the story ends up when you've been left on a cliffhanger. This part of the story ties up all of the loose ends and you get the story on all of the secrets. I felt emotional over what these two kids had gone through before they even graduated from high school. My heart definitely felt a tug for Maverick who sacrificed so much of his own happiness to keep all of his family safe. In Book 1, he seems like a cocky, high school basketball player who doesn't have much regard for anyone... but in this book, you definitely see another side of him. For Lo, you get see her start on the closure that she desperately needs to move on with her life. I just adore YA stories and this one was a great read with great characters.
