I am the most sought after man in The Wicked Horse. Sex is nothing but a game to me and I’m the type that will leave at the end of the night without looking back. Tonight, there is no way I can walk away from the mysterious green-eyed beauty behind the mask of sapphire feathers at the club’s masquerade event.
Clearly looking to walk on the wild side, she’s the escape I’m looking for. Unfortunately, I realize too late that I know exactly who she is. And now I’m left to reconcile the fact that I just experienced the greatest pleasure of my life with Jorinda Pearce.
My best friend’s little sister.
And there is not another woman in the world who is more off limits.

A Connection That Just Can't Be Denied
*I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*
Sawyer Bennett truly knows how to bring the heat! Holy moly was this book scorching hot! Wicked Wish is book 2 in the Wicked Horse Vegas series, but can be read as a stand alone.
Best friend's little sister is a favorite trope of mine and this story did not disappoint! Walsh and Jorie were neighbors growing up and in many ways, she is the little sister he never had. Best friends with her brother, Micah, and 8 years her senior, Walsh has always suppressed what he felt to be inappropriate feelings for Jorie. Years later, when their paths cross again in the most unexpected and delicious way, one thing is clear, the connection they share is still just as intense and incredible. Be prepared for your kindle to melt or spontaneously combust, because these 2 together are nuclear hot!
I loved the push and pull between these characters and the truths they faced on their journey. Jorie is pushing her boundaries and discovering who she really is. Walsh is also realizing that perhaps his no strings, no commitment bachelor life isn't as fulfilling as he once believed. There is some good angst and drama when Jorie's ex resurfaces and Walsh puts his friendship with Micah to the test, but what makes it so powerful is how relatable their situations are. I can't wait for more from this series and definitely enjoyed Walsh and Jorie's story.

Omg this is hawt! I wanted to kill her brother for messing it up!
Interesting. It got wishy-washy in a couple of places, but for the most part, I’d want to read it again
