Amazing
Widower’s Aura by AJ Renee is absolutely amazing. There is romance as well as a shady neighborhood vandal, and a checkered past that resurfaces.
I truly loved everything about this book. The characters were developed nicely and their back stories were shared a appropriate times with the flow of the book. I could not put this book down! There seemed to be something going on with every turn the book was taking.
Sofia is a social worker turned photographer. She moves to the city of St. Fluer when she changes her occupation. In this new town she meets Noah, the hot next door neighbor to her best friend. This chance meeting happens when his daughter vandalizes the wall of Sofia’s building, from then on out their relationship took off.
Noah is a widower who moved himself and his daughter to St. Fluer to escape his family’s constant nagging and worry over how they were coping. When his daughter gets into some trouble he is forced to talk to and be near the one woman he can’t get out of his mind. Starting a relationship with Sofia is tricky, will his daughter be okay with it all? Will the memory of his wife fade?
When someone from Sofia’s past comes back to get revenge on her, Noah is beside himself with grief, thinking he is the one that caused this, as well as his wife’s death. Can Sofia pull him out of his grief? Will they be able to have a happily ever after?
I want to give so much away and describe everything to pull you into this book with me, but I will refrain from posting any spoilers. I recommend this book one hundred percent if you like this genre, this book is definitely a 5 star book! I have a feeling that Sofia’s best friend Lindsey has a story and I hope there is a second book with that character.
A great Read
I really enjoyed the storyline as well as the characters. You can feel it in your heart.
Simply charming
I absolutely love the story of Sophie and Noah. The books characters are reasonable, easy for fall for, and realistic with a touch of a supernatural gift. I look forward not only to Lindsey's and Mark story but Lexi and Jaxson story as well. I hope after Lindsey's store comes Jaime Lynn's!
