Jack is headed to go pick up his daughter Leslie from her after school job where his sister Bailey’s best friend Dara works. He has know Dara forever with her hanging out with Bailey but wow, has Dara always been that beautiful? Suddenly sparks are going off like the Fourth of July. It must have been obviously because suddenly Leslie asks her dad if he misses her mom.
Jack and Dara go out for drinks then it is every weekend dating. Leslie is not happy and feels her dad is betraying her mom. Yes, she is being a brat. Max is totally cool with Dara. She is Aunt Bailey’s best friend. Plus he’s a boy, what does he know?
Jack takes the relationship slow, how gentlemanly of him not to rush things.
Both Jack and Dara admit they are in love but only to themselves. Leslie is really not happy. That changes the night of a big storm. Great addition to this series. I wish you could order a McBride man from Amazon, they are awesome.
