EMILE LEGRAND, fresh out of junior college, has been sent to San Francisco to find his long, lost brother, Beauregard. Emile barely remembers Beau, so he lingers in coffee shops until he encounters a woman who has a sarcastic response to his leering appreciation of her fleshy assets by introducing the ill-fated young man into the far side of the entertainment industry: adult films. A few blocks away from Emile’s favorite coffee shop, BUDDY DEE, lives - scarcely surviving as an illustrator - in a tiny studio apartment in Polk Gulch. Buddy is looking for a new career and a fresh way of looking at life and love. MIKKA Y is an internationally famous adult film star who brings Emile into her life to help with satanic rituals, then discovers Buddy to help raise her mostly feral three year old, Lily.
