Wild Ones Tip #349
If you don't understand what's going on, it's because you haven't been in Tomahawk long enough.

My sister and I decided to go to Tomahawk to learn more about our estranged grandmother and spend some time together doing something other than networking.

What we expected was some quiet town, a peaceful escape, and a little downtime.

What we got?
Two sexy mountain men...who actually wear a lot of flannel, bring fresh kills on first dates, and gripe about screaming a lot.
Hypothermia, a broke arm, a possible concussion, and more reckless fun than we've ever had.
And a stoner town that prides itself on its weed, crazy challenges, beards, and bizarre character.

Our trip started a little like a horror film...including bad cell signal,  spotty internet and womb snatchers. Long story.

Fortunately, it changed pretty quickly.

I actually ended up not spending much time with my sister, but I did spend a lot of time with Kai Wilder. He's the single most unique, easy-going, and...oblivious man I've ever met.

Welcome to Tomahawk. Home of the Wild Ones.

❤️❤️❤️ LOVED IT ❤️❤️❤️

So I rarely write reviews because I’m never really sure what to write, but this is quite possibly becoming my favorite series by my favorite author CM Owens (which says a lot because everything she writes is so AMAZING), and this is my favorite of the series so far.
This series is SO VERY FUN, there’s a little bit of angst but it’s not overpowering, it’s just fun reading.
I had been impatiently waiting for this book to release and it didn’t disappoint, I read it one sitting. Kai was completely different than what I was expecting him to be from what I read of him in the previous books, but in a good way. He’s so adorably clueless and sweet, while also just being a hot mountain man. I’m so happy Piper didn’t lose interest in him from the unintentional rejections. AND those Wild One Mamas/Aunts are so quirky! I can’t even describe Mama Wilder, I love her so much! I literally laughed out loud so many times thanks to her.
Add bonus you get more time with all the other Wild Ones in this book, with previews into future couples!
Lastly, I really just want this calendar to be a real thing.

Not my favorite

Love this series. I’ve read the other two books in the series. Bought this for something lighter after reading one of Reynolds’s Vampires in America installments. Needed something fun. Wilder did the trick. I’m glad characters from the first two books were written into this storyline because it was needed. As hard as I tried, I could not get behind Piper. I felt she was wrong for Kai. On the other hand, Reese was perfect for Hale. Reese and Piper are sisters and very different. Reese was the go getter. Piper was inexperienced in everything and constantly questioned herself. After a while it just became boring. She was boring. Kai is scary calm, but with a huge heart. Loved him. Loved Hale too. This was a different side of Hale. He and Reese were hilarious. In fact, all the Wild One’s are. Tomahawk is definitely unique. I laughed through most of the story. I just didn’t feel Piper was the right one for Kai. Too unsure of herself. The usual characters and a few new ones, made for a great story. Very fun read. Highly recommend!
