Will and the Red Ball

As you read the story to your children, you get caught up in the excitement as William and his parents travel to the biggest and most exciting city ever, New York City. The sights and sounds astound and amaze little William. Clutching his trusty red ball, William is captivated by all there is to see and do in New York City. Huge buildings, gigantic statues and sounds unlike anything he has ever heard before surround the awestruck little boy as he journeys with his family through the many places there are to see.

Curiosity takes over as William wonders what could happen if he only bounces his ball just once or twice. His bouncing red ball takes them on a detour that separates him from his parents despite their warnings to him to stay close by their side. Wandering on a path led by his favorite toy as it bounces through the streets and even subways, William is soon hopelessly lost and alone.
