According to Wikipedia: "John Mackay Wilson (1804-1835) was an Scottish writer famous for the six volume Tales of The Borders. He was born in Tweedmouth, on the border between Scotland and England. Towards the end of his life, he suffered from alcoholism. Two of his plays were The Gowrie Conspiracy and Margaret of Anjou.
