Winding Roads

Welcome to A Heart's Life. Here you will find an emotional journey through life, in poetic form. Everyone feels emotions. Whether it's happiness, sadness, heartache, grief or utter joy, they're all a part of life and what makes us who we are. I just feel a need to write them down. For me, writing poetry has always given me the ability to express myself when the spoken word just didn't seem adequate enough. Deep emotions and beliefs, which sometimes I've kept hidden within, and which may seem too difficult to discuss openly, flow easier by pen than by mouth. Writing a poem for someone special, in my opinion, is the best gift I can give to show my love. Therefore, it is my fondest wish that "A Heart's Life," and "Winding Roads" not only convey my emotions, but reflect my deepest belief in true love and that sometimes, even through all the heartache and pain, it can conquer all.
