    Videos terrible, content marginal

The author used screen capturing software for demonstration purposes and many of the videos were terrible. He would swipe to show off screen content and the video would then pixelate the icons and make them impossible to read.

The whole point of getting this video book was to see the tips and suggestions in action. Instead, I had to suffer through many of these poor videos.

Finally, the author was surprised or stumped in several places with Windows 8 quirks or offered content that was just marginal in quality. I expect an instructor on a topic to have more command of the subject.
