Interesting and relatable story
Wow, is all I can say! This book hit a little different for me than expected. My family recently moved due to a career shift for my husband’s job, and even though it was only 35 miles (not across an ocean!), I could empathize with Saorise in the challenge of meeting new people. I was so happy to see Saorise stay connected with her friends and family back home and make new connections, too. I have not read the first two books in this series, but did not feel like I missed any key background info or mixed up characters- Murray did a good job of explaining it enough for the book to work as a standalone. Overall, a well-written, funny women’s fiction novel focusing on the importance of family, friendship, and love in our lives.
