Publisher Description
Timothy Zahn’s upcoming novel Scoundrels, starring Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Lando Calrissian, returns to the excitement of the classic Star Wars films. In this thrilling prequel eBook novella, Winner Lose All, Lando and a pair of unlikely allies find themselves involved in a dangerous game. Fortunately, Lando can survive against the odds—a skill that he will need in spades.
Lando Calrissian’s no stranger to card tournaments, but this one has a truly electrifying atmosphere. That’s because the prize is a rare sculpture worth a whopping fifty million credits. If Lando’s not careful, he’s going to go bust, especially after meeting identical twins Bink and Tavia Kitik, master thieves who have reason to believe that the sculpture is a fake. The Kitiks are beautiful, dangerous, and determined to set things right—and they’ve convinced Lando to help them expose the scam. But what they’re up against is no simple double cross, nor even a twisted triple cross. It is a full-blown power play of colossal proportions. For an unseen mastermind holds all the cards and has a fail-proof solution for every problem: murder.

Where's Lando?
A quick little read that was enjoyable. Felt like I was watching one of the old detective shows from my childhood (perry mason, heat of the night, columbo, etc) my only complaint is that by looking at cover & reading description Id expected more Lando but he really didn't do much in this book. Kind of just made little quips here & there, but mostly seemed like his name was used as a draw. They could've easily just put pics of Zerba, Bink and Tivia on the cover with him in the background haha
Very cool murder mystery, cat burglar, bad guy doing good type story. Whole time you're rooting for the actual bad guy to get caught. Although c'mon, police? I didn't know there were a need for private police with all those Storm Troopers enforced by the Empire walking around like in all the movies... But ok then
All in all it was very likable and fun to read. Looking forward to reading Scoundrels now since this was a set up,for that book and I've been putting it off for a while now.
Winner loses All
A wonderful look at the life of Lando Calrissian without the effects of Hans Solo or Luke Skywalker in the mix. The book set a fast entertaining pace while simultaneously introducing new and interesting characters. A fun read.

Now I need to get Scoundrels
Timothy Zahn, in my opinion, is the best Star Wars writer. This only furthers my opinion. For $2, it's worth a quick read.
