Bend in like a Bohemian ,

the ashes of memories

one can only begin to imagine how truly horrific the apocalypse and its aftermath might be for empaths.

Both Haylee and her brother were empathetic witches, and she was with him through his difficult end - the intense emotions if a mass disaster were too much for many empaths to process.

Haylee seems settled in at her job at the sick bay. An unexpected encounter with the best friend of her brother leaves her pleased but perplexed: does he know about the death? how can she tell him? is the empath grounded enough to handle and process the info?

grief shared is not truly halved, and it seems likely it could be dangerous for teo empaths to share if not properly grounded

Can Haylee and Brandon work beyond sorrows to find healing - and maybe more?

intense post apocalyptic drama, romance and action.

“Not all was lost.”

Hayley knew as soon as she saw Brandon that they needed to have a difficult conversation. The magic of this story comes from two empaths not just surviving an apocalypse, but contributing to their community, caring for others... healing themselves, and others, and in the process rediscovering hope.

This story is a remarkable journey through grief.

Sweet story

This is a sweet story by Laura Greenwood. I am really enjoying this series by her.

Hayley is an empathy witch at Purple Oasis. She is surprised to see her brother’s best friend from before. She knows that she needs to deliver some sad news to him. Brandon is happy to see Hayley. He is also an empathy witch so knows before she tells him that he lost another person. Their grief can overcome them if they let it. They start hanging out more and start having feelings for each other. Will they take a chance at finding happiness together?
