The trade routes have been cut since the world changed so what’s a tea witch to do? Sweet romance in a post apocalyptic world. Great world building. Not heavy on the doom and gloom more on this happened now what happens after. How do people adapt, survive and thrive even in the new reality. Quick enjoyable read.

This is a quick and light read. Jasmine and Ryburn are teens, she’s a tea witch and he’s a nymph. The story tells of their respective communities trying to work out a treaty to work together. In the meantime the two teens take a liking to each other.

This is a cute and short series starter. I liked how Jasmine, the coven diplomat and Ryburn, the nymph representative are both chosen even though both are untested. This brings the aspect of adventure to this wonderful tale.

I liked the continuation importance on things that meant little pre-apocalypse time, such as the role and usage of tea. I also enjoyed references to the ongoing evolution of the Oasis as a whole, along with the role of tea witches, shifters, healers, nymphs, and others in this new post-apocalyptic world.

I really enjoyed it and thought the romance was well-balanced with solid world building.
