Great!
Within the Flames picks up right after book 3. Macey is out to figure out how to get Flint’s flames back. Unfortunately there are no waffles yet. This series just keeps getting better. I thought this was going to be the last book, but was excited to see that we will get more books in the Seven Wardens series :)
Macey and her Adventure
Flint is injured and lost his fire magic. Macey goes on a journey to find the Lampads. Lampads are fire creatures. She believes that if she brings back one of their flames, it will kickstart Flint’s fire power. Macey must pass a test first before she will be allowed to meet with the Lampads. Will Macey pass the test? Will the Lampads help her? During her journey Macey meets Luc who is her daimon guide. Luc will guide and help Macey. Macey and Luc have a connection.
Can Luc help Macey defeat Mahoun? Luc is a nice addition to the story. He is an interesting character.
Once Macey helps Flint, she needs to gather an army to help them defeat the Mahoun. Will they be able to finally defeat the Mahoun? Will they be able to bring balance back to the world? This is the fourth book in the Seven Wardens series. This book continues from where book three ended. There are battles for Macey and her four men to win. Macey and her men Cam, Flint, Jared, and Rohan have some steamy scenes. There were some slow parts in the book. Overall this is a good story. I will read book five to see what happens next in their adventure. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Excellent Story! Love This Series
Within the Flames is the fourth book in the Seven Warden's series. It is a paranormal reverse harem. This book is not a standalone and shouldn't be read before finishing books 1-3. If you haven't read the first three books you are missing too much to completely enjoy the book. This review will have some spoilers if you haven't read books 1-3.
Just like with the other books this one picks up where book three ended. Macey now has four men to love and protect her now that Ronan, a selkie has joined their group. He's not a warden but the guys have accepted him into the fold and are happy to share Macey with him. The Wardens are trying to gain support from other realms to help fight Mahoun. Some support was gathered but not enough especial since Flint has lost his fire magic. If they're to be successful in the quest Macey and the other wardens need to figure out how to restore Flint’s magic. This series has kept me engaged the whole time. I'm very much looking forward to reading book five.
