Selection of Urdu Ghazals by acclaimed Urdu poet from Pakistan - Murtaza Birlas. Since the times of Mir and Ghalib, Urdu ghazal has undergone many changes. Yet the style, the metre, the structure, has remained true to the classical style. Modern Urdu movement has given Urdu ghazal a new voice and expression.
