I deserve one too
This is a great read and will share it with family and friends. The insight is invaluable. However, there is not a end all solution for everyone. Several different and equally important issues were not addressed and even alluded to in a negative manner. The new age woman, which I am, has little chance of getting married and sustaining a healthy relationship. And maybe we should choose flexible careers or careers to which we can stay at home. This will allow us to create and sustain the healthy home environment.
Ahhhh...popo on you. With the change in the way homes are now requiring two people to work there has to be a different answer for those of us who need to work in order for our households to survive. Not to mention the amazing contributions we have made and will continue to make in this country. I hope you amazing women continue to make the strides that you have. A great example is the amazing Michelle Obama! Take a close look at their relationship. I see the value that she brings to their relationship and for many early years how her income was higher than her husbands. How they worked as a team toward some amazing accomplishments. How they did and have it all. And yes, THEY made the choice for her to stay at "at home" with the children. This is and was a process.
Yes, I agree a man needs to head the household. I agree that family comes second, only to God. I have found several accomplished men who appreciate and respect the sacrifices we working women have made in regards to our careers. And I venture to say we have gained the respect of many.
You may think as you read my words that I have been hurt. Yes. That I have a demanding career. Yes. That I am single. Yes. Because of my choice I will probable not marry. NO. I will answer that questions by my actions. This author didn't address the important scenario of family amongst two professional people, relationships amongst two professional people who desire to keep family first. Ladies it works...it is possible...keep the faith. I am.

I loved this book, the advice was real and raw. The author spoke as if he was my friend. Telling things that were beneficial for women to know! I feel like so many of my questions about men were answered in this book!
Great teaching
This book is nothing short of enlightening! I have a great dad, and he has played a big part in my life, every word I read I can hear coming from my own daddy...and that's why its so genuine. I've recommended it to all my friend and the ones I didn't...I plan to buy them for christmas. A must read!
