Won by Magic & On a Dark Stage

This is a novel featuring the American detective, Nick Carter. The story begins on board the ship Marathon which is en route to Calcutta. Carter receives a telegram telling him to go urgently to Nepal. Hopefully, this will enable him to track down a missing person whose father is also on board with the detective.
