I loved the “back and forth” they had. Even being a jerk he was understandably lost and angry.

Promotes & Romanticizes Toxic Relationships
I can’t lie.. after first book I had high hopes. Unfortunately, this book made me quite uncomfortable so many times.
Reasons why:
-this guy said the most inappropriate things and belittled her to the point of disgusting many times
-she just took it and then turned to tell her friend a very political and watered down version of events with no accurate information of what he said
-what kind of friend did this author write where she belittles the bestie for being upset after being treated like that?
-this book promotes toxic relationship dynamics, being treated poorly as being acceptable, and romanticizes emotional manipulation…
Cute Romance
So I started this book during my lunch hour and wish I hadn’t because I was invested and wanted to finish it in one sitting. Loved Abby and Dylan you could feel the immediate sparks in their first interaction. The back and forth banter was great with many LOL moments throughout the book. Enjoyed the story line but do wish it was a little longer or jS an extended ending with a wedding scene and Dylan wearing a kilt!!
