Janie’s employer at the Split Rock Ranch and Resort, Renner Jackson, has gotten himself tangled up in a devil’s bargain. His new partner’s daughter, Tierney Pratt, is a spoiled daddy’s girl and off limits—no matter how drop dead gorgeous she is. PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
James's third Blacktop Cowboys contemporary western (after Saddled and Spurred, Mar.) offers fun erotic interludes set against some mild intrigue at the newly opened Split Rock Ranch and Resort in Muddy Gap, Wyo. Janie Fitzhugh is back in town after eight years away, dodging an abusive ex-boyfriend and helping resort owner Renner Jackson get his new place up and running. When Janie's ex-husband, Abe Lawson, steps in to protect her, she's surprised to find that he's changed for the better, emotionally and physically, during her absence. Meanwhile, Renner must manage a professional relationship with his lender's daughter, Tierney Pratt, who he thinks is spying on his business. It's not long before attraction overcomes apprehension for both couples and enough sparks fly to satisfy fans of James's low-intrigue, high-passion style.

Great story, loved every page. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Wrange and Tangle Me!
I must say, for a book that starts of really slow in the "steam" department…Lorelei really makes up for it later. Definitely more graphic than the average romance novel ,when it comes to the sex scenes, but I have to give it to Mrs. James. She knows what she's doing. I fell in love with these characters and I can't wait to read more.
