Former actress Abigale Applegate, dumped by her fianc shortly before the wedding, devises a plan to wreck her life, including having "a torrid affair with a hot guy." Her best friend and former co-star, Zach Barnes, has been in love with Abby for years; when he discovers Abby's plan, he decides he'll be the guy in question. Zach's devotion to Abby only enhances the blazing passion with which he approaches their affair, and the sexy surprises little gifts, sexting, a romantic weekend getaway send their comfortable relationship into uncharted (and utterly hot) territory. While the stumbling blocks the two put in their own way can be frustrating, the end result is delightful. Walker (If You Know Him) ably demonstrates her skill with a contemporary scenario, inspired by real-world book Wreck This Journal by Keri Smith.

We should all have a Zach...
This book was engaging from the beginning and continued to hold my attention so much that I read it in a day. Zach and Abby are real characters that have flaws we can all relate to. Their story is amazing and here's hoping we can hear more from the Barnes Brothers :)
Heartwarming
In Tagalog, this book can be defined in one word: kilig. That's how I felt reading this book.
1. noun. It is the sudden feeling of an inexplicable joy one gets when something romantic or idealistic occurs.
When kilig, one may experience the following:
*butterflies in one's stomach
*heart melting
*shivers down one's spine
*irrepressible noises from one's mouth
*uncontrollable smiling
*an inner conflict between hope of something wished for and reality
Kilig may also be defined as that mountain top, floating, on cloud nine, invincible, i-could-keep-smiling, heart aching goodness and feeling which overpowers the mind's ability to think straight, act straight, breathe properly and articulate thoughts into a single comprehensible sentence.
